About this taxonomy

This lexicon pairs everyday beauty language with terms and concepts from skin longevity research. Each entry shows how a legacy phrase can be updated, what is happening in the tissue, and how to explain it in a way clients can understand. The scientific notes draw on peer-reviewed work in geroscience, cosmetic dermatology, and longevity medicine. They are written for education and consultation, not for diagnosis or treatment. This is a working document and will be revised as the evidence develops.
